Featuring three re-mastered tracks off "2013," as well as three newer compositions, this EP is a wonderful listen that presents several different moods and concepts in the span of only six songs. A multi-faceted lyrical approach and musical attack are held together by Heise's vision to make the record incredibly entertaining and varied. Though all instruments were played by Heise himself, you would never guess it. Some songs sound like a 4 piece rock band thundering away, while others could be a piano-based indie trio. Tunes like "Starchild" and "Queen" combine a 70's blues rock sound with modern punk vibes. "Stay Down" is a masterful piece of songwriting that encompasses many influences while managing to sound completely original. This EP is a great listen within itself, and a glimpse at greatness to come. This is Art Rock. This is heavy and intimate. This is Electric Madness.
